Accordance web browser

Hi all. I'm looking for some help with Accordance Bible Software. The new version comes with a web browser, and it's not touched by Pluck Eye. Anyone have ideas? I was wondering if it's possible to use Pluck Eye to block the web browser bit of the program... Any help appreciated! Thanks

Re: Accordance web browser

Sorry I'm very new to this - at the moment I'd settle just to be able to block the Accordance program, which I think is accordance.exe

Not sure how to do this

Re: Accordance web browser

The first thing thing to do is to make sure that you have Pluckeye's system integration turned on. Use your command line and enter:

pluck + system

This should block any program (Accordance and its browser) from accessing the internet.

If this doesn't work, try adding the extra strength component.

 pluck + nhb

If this doesn't work then we may need a sysinspect report for more information.

Re: Accordance web browser

Thanks RNYC. I appreciate it! Thankfully Jon was in touch and suggested I block accordance.exe which has done the trick smile

..Just a quick one about scheduling a blackout - i tried

pluck + when 0-4&23-24 block everything

But got this back

Failed to parse 'when 0-4'
'23-24' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Any ideas? (I'm on level 2 and Windows, don't know if that makes a difference)

Re: Accordance web browser

You need quotes because '&' has special meaning to your command shell.

pluck + when "0-4&23-24" block everything

A future version of Pluckeye will also accept comma in place of ampersand.

pluck + when 0-4,23-24 block everything

Re: Accordance web browser

Thanks Jon! I don't know for sure if it worked, but I've added that on. Really helpful, thanks
